A new critter is ready to inhabit the Grummelverse. He is soft and sqooshy, and perfectly camouflaged- when he lies flat on the ground he seems like a little tuft of grass and flowers. Those and his bright red nose attract many insects which he then devours by shooting out along sticky tongue. Cute but deadly...here we go:

To keep this blog alive I decided to post some silhouette designs I did recently for a project that starts to take shape in my mind. These are more or less inspirational studies to play around with shapes and come up with a somewhat interesting and unique design. Here's my two person dialogue shot I did for Animation Mentor. Still loads od small and also bigger issues to fix, but I just started my polish&portfolio term (last term at Am - unbelievable!), so there is still some time to fix those things. ... in the theatre ;) Finally I feel happy enough with my latest shot that I dare uploading it here. I still see things that I would want to tweak and polish, but for now it's time to move on and start working on a new scene. I tried hard to change the appearance of the famous Bishop rig so it looks more unique, but from now on this will be far more easy. Animation Mentor has released a new, fully-customizable rig!!! I'm so excited and can't wait to start testing it :) To round off this post I also want to show a few of my latest sketches and designs :) Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions!
