Here are some concept sketches that I did for a project which I'm currently working on together with a friend of mine. We are still developing the story while at the same time starting to do some concept sketches to get a feel for the atmosphere, the style and the characters. I hope you enjoy them :)

Long time, no post...... but there really was A LOT going on. I had my very last Q&A at Animation Mentor yesterday and soon I'll head over to "alumniland" (to quote my friend David ;) ). Moreover I'm moving to New Zealand in a few weeks and therefore had a lot to organise.
However, here are some portraits I did recently and also a slightly older life drawing that I haven't posted yet. Hopefully I'll have my reel updated soon, so I can post it as well. Thank you for all the encouraging comments I got so far- you all help me stay motivated and inspired!!!

To keep this blog alive I decided to post some silhouette designs I did recently for a project that starts to take shape in my mind. These are more or less inspirational studies to play around with shapes and come up with a somewhat interesting and unique design. Here's my two person dialogue shot I did for Animation Mentor. Still loads od small and also bigger issues to fix, but I just started my polish&portfolio term (last term at Am - unbelievable!), so there is still some time to fix those things. I also include some of my moodboards, thumbnails and character development poses. Hope you enjoy watching :)
